The concept for the ZH-85 pressure booster set was developed in an academic setting in 1985, as the result of work by a research team led by Dr. Zbigniew Hałupka. The founding of Instalcompact in 1989 is closely linked to this project and marked the beginning of the commercial success of pressure booster set systems.
